This very large slicer is made from my own Magnacut X AEBL X CPM 154 CM stainless combination. The steel was all welded in a very challenging forge welding process and unfolded to reveal the interlacing loops that run down the blade. The Magnacut is at the cutting edge, being that Magnacut is the highest performance stainless available for kitchen knives.
 
Handle: multi dyed burl birch wood and a gaudy synthetic opal spacer.
 
Note* - The is some surface crazing on one side of the bolster and a few small flaws down the spine. The price is reduced accordingly.
